Are You A Frustrated And/Or Aspiring Fiction Writer (Too)?
If that describes you, then today I’ve opened up something away from Substack that you might be interested in.
I call it THE VAULT….technically it’s THE WRITING VAULT.
All the details are spelled out here:
The Vault Described In 5 Bullet Points
Hmmm….here goes:
It’s a collection of knowledge on writing drawn from interviews, lectures, my notes on books and more. There are already 102 indexed and timestamped videos in there (with around 250 in draft) and 227 teaching notes. This is dynamic….it changes literally EVERY. SINGLE.DAY. By the end of June I imagine we’ll be up to 130/140 videos and 600 or so teaching notes.
The idea is to make it easy to find resources that can help you on specific topics where you need help right now. (Though the Topic Indexes won’t start going live until the end of May).
Each month has a theme. For MAY, the theme is….getting info uploaded. For JUNE the theme is going to be SHORT STORIES. And pulling info in about Short Stories. Organizing it. Cataloguing it. Etc. In JULY the theme is RAY BRADBURY’S ONE STORY A WEEK CHALLENGE…only I’m going to be writing one short story per fortnight. And posting it…along with ‘writing notes’ to my section of THE VAULT.
It’s cheap to access…and I aim to make it one of the best resources for fiction writers like you and me out there. BECAUSE I AM AN ASPIRING AND FRUSTRATE FICTION WRITER just like you….it’s $7 a month.
There are two sign on bonuses…a course on flow (value $100) and an ePub format copy of my book LESSONS ON WRITING FROM RAY BRADBURY (value $4.99). And there is a bonus every month - May’s bonus is my 150 PAGE PDF of notes on JAMES PATTERSON’S Masterclass.
